Michael M Bukumira, DDS
At Dental Professionals of Lincoln Park, our goal is to provide our patients with outstanding cosmetic and general dental care in a relaxed environment. Dr. Bukumira has been serving the Lincoln Park community for over 25 years. Dr. Bukumira’s team of hygienists, assistants, and laboratories are coordinated to ensure that your treatment expectations are met.
Dr. Bukumira graduated from the University of Illinois Dental School in 1987. He has studied with some of the leading cosmetic dentists in the country. He is a graduate of the Advanced Cosmetic Program through the Atlantic Advantage Institute founded by Dr. Larry Rosenthal.
His goal is to achieve and maintain the highest level of technical skills to provide for our patients, and stay on top of the latest advances in cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Bukumira has established a 20 year relationship with DaVinci Lab, who produce the DaVinci Veneers seen on ABC’s Extreme Makeover and Fox’s The Swan.
He is rapidly becoming known as Chicago area’s leading dentist for people who want cosmetic dentistry.

Bruce Abdullah DDS, MS (Periodontist)
Dr. Bruce Abdullah earned his dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry. He received his Certificate in Periodontics and Masters Degree in Science from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1989.
Dr. Abdullah is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontics in Post Graduate Periodontics at the University of Illinois and has been teaching for the last 16 years. He performs and teaches the latest techniques in implant and periodontal surgery. Dr Abdullah is responsible for instructing the residents on the placement of implants and advancements in the field of implant surgery.
Dr. Abdullah is one of the first Periodontists trained in the field of implant osseointergration by Professor Per-Ingvar Branemark in 1987.
Dr. Abdullah is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is among only a small percentage of Periodontists throughout the world that has attained the qualifications of being a Diplomate of The American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr Abdullah has been fortunate to have lectured both nationally and internationally on a broad range of topics including periodontal plastic surgery and how to enhance aesthetic outcomes in Cosmetic Restorative dentistry.
Dr. Abdullah was named by his peers to the list of “The Best Dentists in the United States”. He is one of 7,119 Dentists chosen from the 150,000 actively practicing Dentists in the United States to be listed on www.bestofus.com.
The Consumers’ Research Council of America (www.consumersresearchcncl.org) announced the inclusion of Dr. Abdullah to the publication “Guide to America’s Top Dentists”. The selection process is based on a point value system that awards points for education, years in practice, affiliations with professional associations and board certifications.
